The individual pieces are tied with nest cords through hand embroidered nest holes (a simple cotton version is included with the purchase). The material is a beautiful linen mixed fabric in traditional linen weave and a rustic yarn. If you want to be creative, this set offers great possibilities to create a very individual costume.
